Supported Independent Living Program for Youth
This program is also available in Dawson Creek
The purpose of this program is to assist youths in becoming contributing members of our community by helping them to live independently and acquire the skills necessary for the transition into adulthood.
Program Focus
- Assistance with financial planning and budgeting.
- Individual, group and peer support.
- Lifeskills training.
- Personal and social living skills.
- Job readiness training.
- Assistance with educational goals.
How to Access the Program:
You can access this program if:
- You are 15 – 19 years of age
- You are a youth in care
- You have a Youth Agreement
- You are unable to live with family
- You are referred by a Social Worker or Financial Aid.
