Youth Criminal Justice Program
This program is also available in Dawson Creek and Chetwynd
This program provides individual, family and group counselling for youths involved in the Criminal Justice System.
Program Focus
Individual/group counselling may include:
- Family and peer relationships.
- Social skills.
- Self-esteem.
- Anger management.
- Exploration of cycle of offending behaviours.
- Setting up a relapse prevention plan.
- Consultation for parents of children with sexually intrusive behaviour.
How to Access the Program
Youths can be referred through the Dawson Creek and Fort St. John Probation Offices.
Youths may self-refer if they are on a Youth Probation Order or an Alternative Measures Agreement.
